I’ve always been amused by the instruction screens in every new version of Guitar Hero. These are only shown once, when you first boot up the game, prior to creating any saves.

The one that started it all– the instruction screen from the original Guitar Hero:

I used the the PCSX2 emulator to capture the screenshots of Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II, and I used the PC version of Guitar Hero III to get that one.

Updated: here’s the Guitar Hero IV (aka World Tour) instruction screens; one for each instrument position. A funny “rock family” vibe to these!
