I know it’s been awhile since you posted this, but I used your idea to hang the 5 rockband/guitar hero guitars that we have, which we arranged into a cool “v” formation on the wall behind the couch in our media room. I bought the hooks for, like, 79 cents each at Home Depot and, coincidentally, they happen to be almost the exact same color as our walls, so it looks really slick. Thanks for the idea – all of our friends love it!

thank you so much! We have like 10 fake plastic guitars that I want to hang in our game room but thought “real” guitar hooks would be too large. This is perfect. Thank you!

I think what he means is using wall plugs. They are plastic plugs of various sizes depending on the size or screw you are using & differing types depending on the wall type ie: plaster board, brick wall etc.
Been looking for ways to hang our plastic guitars cheaply so thanks for the heads up.
