They are metal, now they are guitar hero tour gutiars, without wammy bar, all encased in metal. they also took out the slide bar too. but there good and cool, a mixutre of all guitar hero songs. theres evne juke box hero :D

Just got GHA in a month ago. the first controller died that day. we have been through 3 now so far… I cant imagine for the life of the machine.

My thoughts for the songlist:
“Through The Fire And Flames” by Dragonforce- Hard as hell, and all music arcade games need an “ooh!” or a quarter muncher (dollar muncher, nowadays). Also, it will be based on GH3, so it would be safe to assume it has a few songs.
“Smoke On The Water” by Deep Purple- Really? Did you have to ask?
“Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne- Again, hard as hell, and in GH:WT
“Miss Murder” by AFI
“Lay Down” by Priestess- New songs
“Helicopter” by Bloc Party- Used in EVERY non-main GH iteration
A Pat Benetar Song- For all the moms out there
“Spiderwebs” by No Doubt
“One Way Or Another” by Blondie
“Rock And Roll All Nite” by Kiss
“The Middle” Jimmy Eat World- All syndicated with a DS game or also on RB2

Oh good, the site’s not dead. You had me worried there for a bit.

Also, I agree. Plastic guitars in an arcade will last all of six hours, tops. Arcades are a brutal, brutal environment for the machines themselves.
