It seems I’m a little late to the party, as I haven’t been checking by as regularly, due to the slower updates here. Though I don’t see a deadline.

In anycase, I’ve always responded really well to “I’ve got a feeling.” The song, though typical to the Lennon/McCartney style seems to capture both of them in their separate and unique aspects from each-other. As this is the last song they ‘wrote’ as a duo, that is a great thing.

On the one hand, you have Paul singing, almost as if he is in love, and quite near what you would expect from a Beatles song. Then, all of a sudden, John comes up, and begins with “everybody had a hard year.” It brings you back down to earth, and every time I hear it, sends chills down my spine.

Considering the way things were for John at that point in his life, and for that matter, the band. This song almost defines the latter days of The Beatles for me.

Yep, that’s my bit.

Are we talking about your favorite Beatles song that also happens to be in the game or… Are we talking about your favorite track to play in the game. Since I don’t actually own the game (the primary reason I want to win a copy) I’ll go with my favorite track that happens to be in the game. I’m going to have to go with “Here Comes the Sun”. Let’s hope they keep up with the DLC content so I can get some of my all time favorite Beatles tracks. In My Life, Got to Get You into my Life, and Penny Lane (because it reminds me of the movie Almost Famous).

I Love the on the Rooftop of Apple Corp. part of the Story Mode and all the songs but in paticular I fell in Love with: I Want You(So Heavy) Even though its not a very lyrical song the bass and guitar riffs are excellent and I called it the song with NO Ending! Because it litteraly seems it could go on forever and then comes to a halt as if someone pulled the plug during the session :-)Overall The Game Rocks! Honestly I only knew a handful of the Beatles songs before playing the game. But the game motivated me to add alot of there work to my music collection. P.S I Love your site

Revolution stands out to me as it was the first Beatles song that used in a commercial for Nike back in the late 80′s. I remember recording the ad and watching it over and over on the trusty VCR. I hadn’t had much if any exposure to the Beatles before, however something about the song and imagery captured my imagination as a wide eyed 12 year old. Hopefully this game is helping to inspire another 12 year old somewhere to explore the Beatles and their catalog.

I have to say that my favorite song in the game is “A Hard Day’s Night.” I’ve been a huge Beatles fan my whole life (20 years old), and I can remember a few times when I was home sick from school, and I watched the movie. Additionally, Hard Day’s Night was a part of the first halftime show I was a part of in high school marching band. Plus, that first chord is just fun.

How could it not be “Here Comes the Sun”?

I guess you’d have to live through Oregon winters: six months of grey, rain, and grey rain. Liquid sunshine.

When the sun finally *does* come out and I can walk around outside without fear for my health, I literally feel like I’m high. It is extremely euphoric. “Here Comes the Sun” perfectly captures the feeling of spring in Portland.

I just hope the game has Across the Universe, arguably the most esoteric Beatles’ song, with chorus being direct reference to “everything-is-your-mind” theory, and verses containing meditation instructions.
